Naidu highlights ‘vision 2047’, calls for mutual cooperation between Telugu people

HYDERABAD: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu stressed on the need for mutual cooperation between Telugu people and aspired that Telugu community should lead in all the fields across the globe.
Inaugurating the World Telugu Federations’ 12th biennial conference here on Friday, Naidu stated that from Srikakulam to Palamuru and from Adilabad to Anantapur, all the Telugu people were one.
Due to the foundation laid in the past and the ecosystem developed over the years, Telangana emerged as a top State in terms of per capita income. Hyderabad delivered covid vaccines to 90 countries across the globe, he said.
More than money, innovative ideas were crucial for success. If there were any ideas, come to Andhra Pradesh and measures would be taken to adopt and proof concept the idea. Once it was proved beneficial, take the idea to next level, including national and international levels, he said
“When I announced vision 2020 in the past, people criticised the visualization. Now, vision 2047 has been conceived and as they say seeing is believing, judge for yourself and take a call,” Naidu said to the gathering comprising entrepreneurs, academicians, philanthropists and others.
Zero poverty should be our motive. The elite sections in the Telugu community should handhold the weaker section and mentor them. One should serve the people in the respective countries but never neglect the motherland, he stressed.
Citing declining population in Southern States, the Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister was very particular about population management.
Andhra Pradesh population growth rate is 1.5 percent against South Korea’s 0.7 percent. Countries such as Japan, China and others were facing issues with aging population and by 2047 India could face similar problems and it was high time to act accordingly, he added.
