Nalgonda: Vice Chancellor of Mahatma Gandhi University (MGU) Prof Ch Gopal Reddy on Wednesday asked the teaching and non-teaching staff to work together and bring national level reputation to the University by improving the quality of education and facilities.
Speaking at a meeting held to discuss the steps to be taken to bring the best rating from National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) for the University, Prof Gopal Reddy said that the faculty should adopt new teaching methods, which would help in improving the quality of education. NAAC rating would bring recognition to the university at the national level and also attract more students to pursue courses in its colleges, he added.
All departments should record the seminars and research projects, which would be conducted as a part of the academic calendar, to submit them to NAAC, he suggested. He reminded that the NAAC committee would examine the social responsibility activities, researches and job opportunities to the students of the university during its visit to MGU.
