Nari Shakti Puraskar nomination deadline extended till Feb 6

Nearly 15 Nari Shakti Puraskar are awarded on International Women’s Day observed on March 8 each year.

Hyderabad: The Ministry of Women and Child Development has extended the last date for submission of nomination for the prestigious Nari Shakti Puraskar for the year 2020 till February 6. The National Award is given annually to individuals, groups, institutions in recognition of their exceptional work towards the cause of women empowerment, especially for vulnerable and marginalised women.

Nearly 15 Nari Shakti Puraskar are awarded on International Women’s Day observed on March 8 each year. The required details of eligibility criteria and guidelines are available on the Nari Shakti Puraskar official website www.narishaktipuraskar.wcd.gov.in

Nominations must be submitted online on the portal for consideration, a press release said.
