Siddipet: Former Minister T Harish Rao said that 1,000 youth from Siddipet will go on walk to participate in 25th foundation day of Bharata Rashtra Samithi (BRS) while the BRS cadre will go on rally in 100 tractors to participate in silver jubilee celebrations of BRS in Warangal.

During a preparatory meeting with party cadre and leaders of his constituency in Siddipet on Friday, Harish Rao said that as many as 20,000 people from Siddipet will travel to Warangal to participate in the party foundation day programme. Addressing the meeting, Rao guided the mandal and village level leaders on the plan to mobilise the people for the meeting slated on April 27. He also asked them to offer special prayers at Sri Venkateswara Swamy Temple, Konaipally, the lucky god of BRS President K Chandrashekhar Rao, before leaving for the meeting.
Recalling how the BRS was founded, the former minister said that the party had its roots in Siddipet. Rao said that Chandrashekhar Rao founded the party after offering prayers at Konaipally temple and with the blessings of people of Siddipet. Talking about the recent Kancha Gachibowli land episode, he said that the Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy caused grave harm to the wildlife by removing the green cover in these lands.

Recalling how Revanth Reddy ignored the promises of loan waiver, rythu bharosa and other schemes, Rao said that the people of Telangana even the wildlife will not excuse the chief minister for the misdeeds. BRS Nanganur leader Mahipal Reddy donated Rs 25,000 for party on this occasion.
