Siddipet: Some unknown persons abandoned a new born baby girl on the outskirts of Thotapally village in Bejjanki Mandal on Wednesday.
The locals, who were passing by a bush, heard the infant’s cries and rescued her with the help of an ANM, police, and revenue officials. The infant was taken to Government Hospital, Siddipet in an ambulance where the doctors declared the infant healthy and were providing treatment at Mother and Child Care Centre in Siddipet. The police have registered a case and efforts are on to trace the parents of the girl.
