New building of Siddipet District Library ready for inauguration
The Library, which has many facilities, will also have exclusive reading rooms for women, children, elderly persons, Urdu Section, Digital Library and others
Siddipet: The new building of District Library Siddipet is ready for inauguration. The building was built with an outlay of Rs 2 crore alongside the Siddipet by-passed road. Finance Minister T Harish Rao will inaugurate the facility on Saturday.
The Library, which has many facilities, will also have exclusive reading rooms for women, children, elderly persons, Urdu Section, Digital Library and others. While the women section was christened as Vanitha, the children room was divided into newspaper section and general section.
Since candidates preparing for competitive examinations need a special section, the Library authorities have created a Competitive Examination cell where the students can find all kinds of books. The Library is also having a seminar hall.
In a press release here on Saturday, Minister Harish Rao called upon the people to make optimum utilisation of the library facilities.
