Hyderabad: Minister for Energy, G. Jagadeesh Reddy inaugurated the newly constructed Thurkapally police station building in Yadadri-Bhongir district here on Friday.
Speaking on the occasion, he said the Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao is striving hard to develop the State in multiple sectors by bringing in best policies and schemes which cater to various sectors of people in the state.
“Keeping the security of the citizens in the state in top priority, government is establishing new police station buildings across the state wherever it is required,” the Minister said.
MLA G.Sunitha said police stations are crucial as they are the primary spots for common people to acquire justice and reminded the smart policing policies of Telanagana and Rachakonda Police brought the crime rate down.
Mahesh Bhagwat said the new police station building was constructed with an estimated cost of Rs.1 crore with a built-up area of 1,043 sft and provides services to the people of 31 villages.
Yadadri District Collector Pamela Satpathy, DCP K. Narayana Reddy and others were present.
