Married woman kidnapped in Kothagudem
The attackers thrashed Naveen and took away Madhavi in the car.

Kothagudem: A married woman was allegedly kidnapped by her relatives here on Thursday. According to police, a youth, Dulagunda Sunny of Khammam and Guggela Madhavi of Prashanthi Nagar in Laxmidevipalli mandal in Kothagudem district were in love. They got married this April in Hyderabad.
Following that Madhavi’s mother, G Eswaramma, lodged a complaint with Laxmidevipalli police saying her daughter was missing and based on the complaint police registered a missing case. Learning about the complaint the couple went to Laxmidevipalli police station and told about their marriage.
Madhavi visited Abdul Kalam Engineering College at Vepalagadda near Kothagudem town on Thursday to pay her MBA project fee and later left for the town in an auto rickshaw to have lunch. As they reached Housing Board Colony on the outskirts of the town four persons intercepted the auto and forcefully took away Madhavi in a car.
Sunny lodged a complaint with Chunchupalli police station stating that Madhavi’s uncle Vasam Ramakrishna, aunt Jyothi and sister Anupriya along with another woman kidnapped his wife and threatened to kill him.
Based on the complaint, police booked a case and launched an investigation into the case. Two teams have been formed to search for Madhavi, said SI Pravin.
