Responding to a news story published in these columns on June 14 on the good work carried out by the team, Hope4Spandana’s chief coordinator (Telangana and Andhra Pradesh) Raghu Arikepudi said they were impressed by the services rendered by the 10 friends who were performing final rites of Covid victims in Miryalaguda area.

“We came to know through the news report that the team required PPE kits since 80 of the 100 kits they had received from donors had already been used. We have decided to donate PPE kits, face masks and sanitizers to the team to help them continue with their service,” he said, adding that the organisation was also ready to extend any further help to the team.

The organisation, Raghu said, was also running Corona medical mobile centres in Marriguda mandal to extend medicine to the Covid-19 patients.

Mohammed Ghayas, who brought together 10 friends to form the team, thanked Hope4Spandana for extending support to them. “People in need of our services can call us on 9666905306,” he added.
