NGO donates safety kits to youngsters who perform final rites of Covid victims

Nalgonda: Hope4Spandana, a US-based voluntary organisation has donated 100 PPE kits, 100 face masks and sanitisers to members of GHAYAS Team that has been performing the final rites of Covid-19 victims at Miryalaguda in Nalgonda district.
“We came to know through the news report that the team required PPE kits since 80 of the 100 kits they had received from donors had already been used. We have decided to donate PPE kits, face masks and sanitizers to the team to help them continue with their service,” he said, adding that the organisation was also ready to extend any further help to the team.
The organisation, Raghu said, was also running Corona medical mobile centres in Marriguda mandal to extend medicine to the Covid-19 patients.
Mohammed Ghayas, who brought together 10 friends to form the team, thanked Hope4Spandana for extending support to them. “People in need of our services can call us on 9666905306,” he added.
