Nidhhi Agerwal, Sreemukhi questioned by CID in online betting case
Actress Nidhhi Agerwal, presenter Sreemukhi and Instagrammer Amrutha Chowdhary appeared before CID officials in Hyderabad for questioning over alleged promotion of online betting apps. They were asked about payments, companies promoted and endorsement links. Further action will follow based on collected evidence.

Hyderabad: Actress Nidhhi Agerwal, television presenter Sreemukhi and Instagrammer Amrutha Chowdhary appeared before the Crime Investigation Department (CID) officials for questioning in connection with the ongoing investigation into the promotion of online betting and gambling apps on Friday.
As per available information, they were questioned for over an hour regarding their alleged involvement in endorsing betting platforms.
Investigators sought details about the payments they had received, the number of companies they had promoted and the individuals or agencies that had approached them for the endorsements.
The case, which involves several film celebrities accused of promoting illegal betting apps, was recently taken over by the CID from the local police.
As part of the probe, actors Vijay Deverakonda and Prakash Raj were also questioned by CID officials earlier. Officials said further action would be based on the findings from the statements and evidence collected so far.
