‘Ninnila Ninnila’ opts for OTT release

‘Ninnila Ninnila’, starring Ashok Selvan, Nithya Menen, and Ritu Varma, has opted for OTT release. It will be premiered on ZeePlex on Friday. Nithya Menen who is appearing on Telugu after a long gap, recalled the days of Ala Modalaindi. “During the making of Ninnila Ninnila, I am reminded of the days of the Nani starrer. We had fun on the sets, I, director Nandini Reddy and Nani became good friends. The film became a big hit. The film was quite a memorable one for all of us. And Ninnila Ninnila too is something of that sort” she said.

Directed by Ani IV Sasi, ‘Ninnila Ninnila’ is produced by BVSN Prasad. “This project is indeed the collective effort of a group of friends. We had so much fun shooting ‘Ninnila Ninnila’ in London. The output has come out good. You are going to have a smile on your face while watching it,” the director said.

Ashok Selvan plays the role of Dev, who works as a chef overseas. Dev often struggles with muscle spasms, always likes to experiment with dishes. Ritu Varma plays the role of Tara who works along with Dev. The trailer hints to be taking audiences on an emotional journey of the pair. Ritu Varma who has been busy with back-to-back films, thanked the makers and director Sasi. “I am extremely happy to have got to work with Nasser garu, Nithya Menen, and Ashok Selvan.”

Ashok Selvan said, “This film is entirely different from the kind of movies I have done before. It has got so much feel. We enjoyed ourselves together like friends while shooting for it. Each of the songs released so far has been received well by the listeners. Our film is going to leave you with a smile. I urge everyone to watch this movie from February 26 and bless us.”

The film will also be releasing in cinemas in Overseas territories like the USA, Middle East, and Australia among others on February 26 along with the Tamil version, which is titled ‘Theeni’.
