Nizamabad: Nizamabad Police Commissioner Karthikeya urged the public to wear a mask and maintain physical distance to contain the spread of the coronavirus in the district.

The three town police of Nizamabad town conducted an awareness camp at Kanteshwar on Thursday. To create awareness among the people about the virus, the police cultural team organised ‘Burra Katha’ and other means in the town.

Speaking on the occasion, the CP said that people should wear masks in public places and also maintain physical distance. “If anyone is found without a mask in public places, they will be imposed Rs 1,000 penalty,” Karthikeya warned.
