Hyderabad: The drinking water supply will be disrupted for 24 hours from 6 am on October 29 in some parts of the city. Hyderabad: The drinking water supply will be disrupted for 24 hours from 6 am on October 29 in some parts of the city.
The affected areas include, Nizampet, Bachupally, Mallampet, Pragati Nagar, Hydernagar, Rajendranagar, KPHB, Bhagyanagar, Vasanthnagar and SP Nagar. The water supply will also be halted in Vijaypuri, Deeptinagar, Srinagar, Laxminagar and Chandanagar.
The water supply is being stopped due to repair works that will be taken up on Kalabgoor to Patancheru drinking water pipeline. “There is leakage on the pipeline at multiple places which will be rectified,” said HMWS&SB in a press release and requested people to use water conservatively to avoid inconvenience.
