Notices issued on Telangana High Court recruitments

Hyderabad: A two-judge panel of the Telangana High court comprising the Chief Justice Satish Chandra Sharma and Justice Abhinand Kumar Shavli on Tuesday directed that any appointments made by the Registrar Recruitment High Court for the Telangana High Court Buildings was subject to the outcome of the present writ petition. The panel was dealing with a writ filed by Kasturi Kailasam and other aspirants to the post of office subordinates. The aspirants contended that they were not called for the viva despite clearing the written exam. The panel ordered notices to the Registrar and passed the directions.

IMA withdraws PIL, directed to approach competent authority

The same panel granted permission to the Indian Medical Association, Telangana to withdraw its PIL and approach the competent authority. The Association filed a PIL complaining that the Ramakrishna Healthcare Natural Care situated at Banjara Hills in the city was functioning contrary to Covid norms. The petitioner complained that the police and other authorities failed to act on complaints given by it. The petitioner complained that the health center was misleading public by preventing from practicing government prescribed Covid appropriate behaviour including vaccinations and use of masks and proper sanitation. The panel while disposing the PIL gave permission to the association to approach the competentauthority.

No garbage transportation in open trucks

The same panel directed the GHMC to ensure no garbage is taken out in open containers. The panel was dealing with a PIL filed by M.E Satya Prasad, a resident of the city. The petitioner complained that the authorities failed to follow protocol and were overlooking the pandemic situation and were transporting garbage in open containers. The GHMC counsel informed the court that the corporation was following all precautions during the transfer of garbage. Recording the statement of the counsel, the panel directed the authorities to ensure garbage was not transported in open containers and disposed the petition.
