NTPC hosts half-yearly Nagar Rajbhasha Karyanvayan Samiti meeting at NTPC Ramagundam

The meeting was conducted under the leadership of NTPC (R&T) Executive Director Chandan Kumar Samanta and attended by Anirban Kumar Vishwas, Deputy Director (Implementation), Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India.

Peddapalli: The half-yearly meeting of the Nagar Rajbhasha Karyanvayan Samiti (Town Official Language Implementation Committee – TOLIC) was held at NTPC Ramagundam & Telangana on Monday.

The meeting was conducted under the leadership of NTPC (R&T) Executive Director Chandan Kumar Samanta and attended by Anirban Kumar Vishwas, Deputy Director (Implementation), Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India.

Representatives from various central government offices presented reports on the implementation of Hindi in their respective organisations. The reports were reviewed by Samanta and Vishwas.

Speaking on the occasion, Vishwas highlighted current Rajbhasha policies and shared insights into forthcoming changes aimed at further strengthening the use of Hindi in official communication. Samanta noted that Hindi serves as a bridge among various Indian languages and proposed that a fixed budget and an annual calendar be allocated for Hindi-related initiatives.

On the occasion, three offices, State Bank of India, union Bank, and NTPC, were felicitated for their outstanding contributions to the promotion of Hindi.

State Bank of India received the first prize, accepted by its Regional Head Ravindra Kumar and team. union Bank was awarded the second prize, received by Deputy General Manager D Aparna Reddy and her team. NTPC was presented with the third prize, received by Head of HR Bijoy Kumar Sikdar and his team.
