Hyderabad: The stage is set for the All India Industrial Exhibition, popular as Numaish, to be formally inaugurated on January 3. Traders from across the country have already set up their stalls at Numaish grounds at Nampally. The Exhibition Society had allotted around 2200 stalls to traders this year.

The traders are exhibiting as well selling merchandise such as crockery, readymade appears from Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, and other State, shawls from Kashmir, handicrafts, beddings, upholstery etc.

Several food stalls have also come up at the Numaish grounds where one can relish sweets, lip smacking haleem and chat. There are also joyrides at the venue for the children to enjoy.

Traditionally the Numaish is inaugurated on January 1 every year. However, due to National Mourning in view of the demise of former Prime Minister, Manmohan Singh, the inaugural was postponed to January 3. The entry ticket is Rs. 50 for a person.
