On World Photography Day, Sangareddy Collector stresses role of photographs in news

Sangareddy: Collector Prateek Jain has called upon the photojournalists to focus on capturing the moments that are useful to society apart from highlighting the public issues.
After felicitating the news photographers of Sangareddy district on Saturday in Sangareddy collectorate, to mark the World Photography Day, Prateek Jain said readers prioritise reading news published in the newspapers based on the photographs.
Stating that the advent of new technology in photography has posed many challenges to lensmen, the Collector appreciated the role of them in bringing the public issues to the notice of officers and elected representatives.
The Collector along with SP Paritosh Pankaj went through the photo exhibition organised along the corridors of collectorate on this occasion.
