Prateek Jain assumes charge as Sangareddy Collector in IAS reshuffle
2017-batch IAS officer Prateek Jain assumed charge as Sangareddy Collector after a Telangana reshuffle. He pledged to ensure effective implementation of welfare schemes and monitor development works. Outgoing Collector P. Pravinya has been posted to the Roads and Buildings Department.
Sangareddy: Prateek Jain, a 2017 batch IAS officer, assumed charge as Sangareddy Collector on Sunday. Jain, who worked as Narayanpet collector, was transferred and posted as Sangareddy collector in a major reshuffle of IAS officers in Telangana.
The incumbent Collector P Pravinya was transferred and posted as Secretary to Roads and Buildings department. The newly appointed Collector vowed to carry welfare schemes of both the centre and state governments to the doorstep of eligible beneficiaries apart from efficiently overseeing the development works underway in the district. Additional Collectors RD Madhuri, R Pandu and other officials met Jain and congratulated him.
