Sangareddy: In a shocking incident, the hostel warden of a Social Welfare Residential School at Sirgapur allegedly asked a cook to poison the students after a protest over lack of facilities. The alleged audio conversation, which surfaced on Saturday, has been widely circulated on social media, triggering outrage.
The hostel warden, P Kishan, was suspended on Friday after students staged a protest on Thursday night alleging poor facilities and inadequate care in the hospital. At the time of the protest, the warden was not present at the hostel premises.
According to officials, after learning about the protest, Kishan allegedly called the hostel cook and asked him to poison the students. In the audio clip, he is purportedly heard using foul language and seemed in an inebriated condition during the conversation.
The audio recording came to light on Saturday, a day after Kishan was suspended by the Sangareddy Collector. Meanwhile, officials said preparations were underway to initiate further action against him.
