One killed, two injured as TGRTC bus mows down auto in Adilabad
Enugu Laxma Reddy (65) received serious injuries, while auto-rickshaw driver and another person were injured when bus dashed against three-wheeler
Adilabad: An elderly man was killed on the spot, while two others sustained injuries when a TGRTC bus hit an auto-rickshaw in which they were travelling to Pochera village in Boath mandal on Friday.
Locals and eyewitnesses said that Enugu Laxma Reddy (65) from Chityala in Nirmal district received serious injuries, while an auto-rickshaw driver and another person were injured when the bus dashed against the three-wheeler. Death was instant for Laxma Reddy. The injured persons were shifted to a hospital in Boath. Their medical condition is learnt to be stable.
Based on a complaint received from a family member of Laxma Reddy, a case was registered. Investigations are on.
