Online loan app claims youngster’s life in Telangana’s Karimnagar

Pappu Anjaneyulu, who worked in a bottling company, was found hanging from a tree in Manakondur mandal

Karimnagar: Unable to clear loans taken on an online loan application, a 23-year-old man, Pappu Anjaneyulu, died, allegedly by suicide, in Gattududdenapalli of Manakondur mandal on Sunday night.

According to locals, Anjaneyulu, who used to work in a bottling company in Karimnagar, did not return home on Sunday. As his phone was switched off, family members searched for him and found his body hanging from a tree near the hillocks. They said he could have ended his life since he was unable to clear the debts he incurred after borrowing money from online loan apps.
