Osmania Medical College alumni shine in NEET-SS results
Two doctors from Osmania Medical College, now serving as Senior Residents in Telangana government hospitals, have secured the top two ranks nationally in the NEET-SS Radiodiagnosis exam.

Hyderabad: Two Osmania Medical College (OMC) Post Graduate doctors, who are now posted as Senior Residents in Government Hospitals in Telangana, have secured first and second ranks nationally in the NEET-SS (Super Specialty) Radiodiagnosis exams, the results of which were declared on Friday.
Dr. Vishnu, who is currently serving as a Senior Resident (SR) at the Government Medical College in Yadadri-Bhongir, has emerged as the national topper by clinching the all India first rank followed closely by Dr. Rani Sowmithri, currently a Senior Resident at the Government Medical College in Sangareddy, who secured the all India second rank.
Both Dr. Vishnu and Dr. Sowmithri pursued their MBBS (2015 batch) at Andhra Medical College (AMC/KGH) in Visakhapatnam. Later, they completed MD in Radiodiagnosis at Osmania Medical College, graduating in 2022.
Expressing gratitude following the results, Dr. Sowmithri offered a heartfelt tribute to her mentors and family. She extended special appreciation to the faculty at Osmania Medical College, specifically highlighting the role of Professor and Head of Department, Dr. Nadeem Ahmed, whose meticulous teaching and constant guidance were instrumental in her preparation.
