Hyderabad: Osmania University emerged champions in the South Zone inter-university cricket championship held at Mysuru on Thursday.
In the final, Osmania recorded a narrow 10-run win against Visvesvaraya Technological University.
Batting first, Osmania scored 214 for five in 25 overs with Kunal (65) being the top scorer.
In reply, VTU fell short of the target by 10 runs, with Vamshi and Sathwik picking three wickets each.
Paras Raj was the leading scorer of the tournament, making 366 runs from eight matches at an average of 52.29, while Sathwik was the top wicket-taker with 17 from eight matches.
