Hyderabad: This week, streaming platforms are packed with exciting new shows and films across genres — from horror and sci-fi to comedy, drama and music. Whether you enjoy dark mysteries or light-hearted love stories, there’s something fresh to add to your watchlist. Here’s a look at what’s arriving on OTT from May 15 to May 22.

‘Love, Death & Robots: Volume 4’


Netflix’s Emmy-winning animated series returns on May 15 with ten new short stories filled with horror, fantasy and sci-fi. Directed by Tim Miller and produced by David Fincher, the new season begins with the mind-bending episode Can’t Stop.

‘Maranamass’

A unique Malayalam thriller premieres on SonyLIV on May 15. Maranamass follows the strange case of a serial killer who only targets elderly men, leaving bananas in their mouths as his signature. The film stars Basil Joseph, Rajesh Madhavan, Siju Sunny and Babu Antony.

‘Bet’

Launching on Netflix on May 15, Bet is a teen drama inspired by the cult manga Kakeguri. Set in a high-end boarding school, students bet for social power through intense academic gambling. The series stars Miku Martineau, Aviva Mongillo and Ayo Solanke.

‘Bhool Chuk Maaf’

Amazon Prime Video brings this quirky romantic comedy on May 16. Rajkummar Rao plays Ranjan, a man stuck in a bizarre time loop on the day of his Haldi ceremony. Set in Varanasi, the film also features Wamiqa Gabbi, Seema Pahwa and Sanjay Mishra.

‘Hai Junoon’

Hai Junoon, a musical drama set in Anderson College, arrives on JioHotstar on May 16. The story follows rival music groups fighting for glory. It stars Jacqueline Fernandez, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Sumedh Mudgalkar, Siddharth Nigam and Boman Irani.

‘Dear Hongrang’

Based on the Korean novel Tangeum: Swallowing Gold, this mystery drama streams on Netflix from May 16. Jo Bo Ah and Lee Jae Wook lead the cast in a story about Jae Yi, a woman investigating a man with no memories who claims to be the missing heir, Hong Rang.

‘Wolf Man’

Releasing on JioHotstar on May 17, Wolf Man is a horror movie with a twist on the classic werewolf story. Christopher Abbott plays a writer who starts transforming into a terrifying creature after moving to the countryside. Julia Garner and Matilda Firth also star.

‘Sirens’

This psychological drama series lands on Netflix on May 22. Based on the play Elemeno Pea, the show follows two sisters during a tense weekend at a luxurious island estate. Meghann Fahy and Milly Alcock star alongside Julianne Moore in this gripping limited series.
