Over 200 golfers for Telangana Premier Golf League
The league is intended to foster the sport of golf by providing a friendly, fair & well-managed opportunity to play.
Hyderabad: Over 200 golfers are expected to participate in the Sreenidhi University-sponsored Telangana Premier Golf League (TPGL) tournament at Hyderabad Golf Association course.
The league is intended to foster the sport of golf by providing a friendly, fair & well-managed opportunity to play. The Hyderabad Golf course is a project initiated by the Telangana Tourism Development Corporation and the Hyderabad Golf Association (HGA). Apart from an International standard golf course, it houses a Golf academy for development of the game.
Situated at the historic Golconda fort, it is one of the finest heritage golf courses in the world. HGA has won the National Tourism Award, twice, as the “Best Tourism Friendly Golf course”. It is an eco-friendly golf course which is totally irrigated using treated sewage from a unique root-zone sewerage treatment system.
