Gynaecologists and cancer specialists during the Yashoda Hospitals' HOPE-2025 programme, in Hyderabad, on Monday.
Hyderabad: Over 350 gynaecologists and cancer specialists from across the country participated in a recently held continuing medical education (CME) program titled ‘HOPE-2025’ on Gynaecological cancers, organised by Yashoda Hospitals, Hitec City.
The CME program showcased top surgical oncologists, medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, and gynaecologists from across India, who participated in discussions on recent updates in cervical and endometrial cancers.
The CME featured talks and latest updates in treatment of cervical and endometrial cancers, premalignant lesions of cervix and HPV viral management, advances in robotic surgeries, and advantages of MR Linac radiotherapies that impacted the treatment outcomes in Gynaecological cancers by reducing side effects of radiotherapy and faster recovery of patients, Dr Pavan Gorukanti, Director, Yashoda Hospitals group, said.
Dr Suneetha Mulinti , Clinical Director and senior radiation oncologist said “ New technologies like MR Linac are being utilised for best possible treatment outcomes for cancer patients by targeting the tumour with highest precision.
Senior faculty members from the field of gynaecology including Prof Shantha Kumari and Dr Suneetha Allanki, oncologists Dr Suneetha Mulinti, Dr Chinna Babu Sunkavalli, Dr Bethune Naidu and Dr Kiran Kumar were present.
