Over 90 pc people in Telangana supporting TRS: Gangula

Karimnagar: BC Welfare and Civil Supplies Minister Gangula Kamalakar stated that over 90 percent people of the State are supporting the ruling TRS. He said though some political leaders were making efforts, there was no scope for a new political party in the State as majority of population are with the TRS.
While participating in TRS membership drive held in various divisions of Karimnagar Municipal Corporation on Sunday, the Minister said people have owned TRS which was launched by Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao and consider the latter as the property of Telangana. He asked the party cadres to enrol people into the party on a large scale. “Farmers, youth and women were taking TRS membership voluntarily. People were feeling proud to take membership,” he said.
The TRS membership drive has been receiving good response across the State. About 60,000 members have enrolled in Karimnagar Assembly constituency alone.
