Hyderabad: A painter died in a road accident at Abdullapurmet in the city suburbs on Thursday.

The victim Neerudi Yadagiri (50), a resident of JNNURM colony, Abdullapurmet was going on his bike from his residence towards Gandicheruvu in the afternoon.

“Yadagiri, was taking a U turn at Ramadevi when the driver of a car who was proceeding from Vijayawada to Hyderabad hit the bike of the Yadagiri. The man fell on the road from the bike and the car ran over him. He died on the spot,” said Abdullapurmet police.

A case has been registered.
