Pallavi Aware International School organised its investiture ceremony recently celebrating the formation of the student council 2021-22. The school organsied a campaign earlier in the month asking students of PP 2, Class V, Class IX, and Class X to nominate themselves to be a part of the student council and to be a guid- ing light to their fellow students.
The elections were held with much grandeur, with the candidates zealously campaigning and the student body judiciously casting their vote. The investiture ceremony was organised to introduce and honour the newly elected student council. The event began with the lighting of the lamp in the hopes of dispelling all dark.
Principal Sudeshna Mairal welcomed the audience extending a warm welcome to the guests of the day. Indian traditional songs were sung by the students, greeting those gathered for the occasion. Various Indian classical dance performances were organised by students thanking the audience for being a part of the programme.
Chief Guest of the day, P Raghuveer (IFS) advised the student council to be activists if they wish to make a change and encouraged them to stand strong to achieve their goals. The newly elected members took oath to uphold the responsibilities that were entrusted upon them. Academic Director Dr T Sudha, Group Director Murali Krishna and Director Anitha Reddy congratulated students.
