Pallavi Model School: Alumnus has a piece of advice for juniors
With a brief case study on Tiger Woods and Roger Federer, the students were given a choice to either be focused like the former or experiential and extravagant like the latter.
Pallavi Model School, Boduppal organized a virtual interview session titled ‘Tete-a-Tete: An Alumnus Speaks’ with Rahul Singh Chauhan, an alumnus of DPS, Nacharam with the school Principal T Tanuja. Rahul Singh Chauhan, is a M.Sc. Economics graduate from The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) currently working as a research associate at the RBI promoted research centre – Centre for Advanced Financial Research & Learning (CAFRAL).
The session began with a welcome dance followed by an interactive interview by the Principal.
The guest answered the questions in a very simple yet exceptional manner whereby the students of class IX and X were able to get an overview as to in what way they can plan and proceed to make a road map to achieve their goals and dreams.
With a brief case study on Tiger Woods and Roger Federer, the students were given a choice to either be focused like the former or experiential and extravagant like the latter. Rahul focused on efforts, curiosity, collaboration and teamwork as important segments of student life. He further informed that opportunities do not always come on their own, we have to either grab them or sometimes even create them by ourselves.
An important message given by him to the students was that the seeds which they will sow in these classes will bear fruits for them in the future. The interview session was followed by a question-answer segment, whereby students present were allowed to clarify their doubts.
