BITS Pilani has received a $1 million endowment from alumnus Brij Bhushan to support female students and encourage innovative, faculty-guided projects. Bhushan, a 1960 batch graduate, is the founder of Reston Consulting Group.
With a brief case study on Tiger Woods and Roger Federer, the students were given a choice to either be focused like the former or experiential and extravagant like the latter.
Manasa will be pursuing PhD on the topic "Functional characterisation of RNA binding proteins involved in riboregulation in Helicobacter and Campylobacter"
