Time management skill crucial for students
A special session on time management was organised for the students of PMS Alwal recently. Vinisha Kumar who is a Psychologist and a counsellor at the school spoke about time management tips for students on how to plan their schedule to complete their work on time without procrastinating.
A discussion on time management and planning a day’s schedule was initiated and retrieved overwhelming responses from the little ones.
The tips included like- how to plan out their homework based on day and time to be allotted for each subject. The points included in planning are making a to-do list, organize properly, set time limit, plan effectively, take required breaks and give priority to the work that has to be completed first.
She also expressed that students should understand, staying at home is not the only way to fight with Corona but also having healthy food prepared at home will improve their immunity power.
Subitha Latish, the coordinator ended the session with a word of gratitude and there was a discussion session for students and parents where the audience clarified queries related to time management. A sum up was done by recording the voice of young ones as they worded their understanding to the vice principal Vidyadhari Rao.
