Pan-India star Yash celebrates his birthday on January 8
Naveen Kumar Gowda, known by his stage name Yash was born in Boovanahalli, a village in Hassan, Karnataka
Hyderabad: Kannada actor Yash is celebrating his 39th birthday on Wednesday. Born in Boovanahalli, in Hassan of Karnataka, he shot to fame with KGF chapters.
Yash is one of the highest-paid actors in the Kannada film industry, and also in South Indian cinema.
Popularly called ‘Rocking Star Yash’ by his fans, he bagged three Filmfare Awards South. He was awarded the Best Supporting Actor – Kannada for Moggina Manasu and the Best Actor – Kannada for Mr and Mrs Ramachari and KGF: Chapter 1.
Yash began his career in the 2000s as television actor. Though his debut movie was Jambada Hudugi in 2007, he was cast as a lead only in 2008 with Rocky but the film flopped. Yash is known for his roles in movies like Googly, Raja Huli, Gajakesari, Mr and Mrs Ramachari, Masterpiece, Santhu Straight Forward. He is married to co-star Radhika Pandit.
Taking to Instagram, he gave a glimpse of his upcoming film Toxic with the caption ‘Unleashing him’.
