Hyderabad: The Paramparaa Foundation hosted its annual cultural festival, celebrating Indian dance, music, and art at the historic Golconda Fort, blending tradition with history in a unique way.
This year, the festival invited audiences to immerse themselves in the world of dance, movement, and storytelling, guiding them into a state of ‘Nimagna’ (immersion), elevating their souls to the pinnacle of aesthetic bliss.
A key highlight was a Bharatanatyam performance that explored the various ways of experiencing the rasa (emotion) in five sections: ‘Guru Stotram’, ‘Kamakshi’, ‘Kashi’, ‘Raghuveera’, and ‘Rasaleela’, presented over a 90-minute performance. The choreography and performance were by Rama Vaidyanathan, alongside an ensemble of twenty talented performers.
The Paramparaa Foundation, founded by Dr. Sri Nagi and Shashi Reddy, aims to revive traditional art forms. All events from Parampara Foundation are free and open to the public, with no tickets required to enter.
