Hyderabad: There will be a partial disruption in certain areas of Hyderabad on November 26 due to a six-hour power supply interruption.

As a result, on November 26, there will be a partial disruption in the water supply in certain areas supplied by the water board’s Krishna Phase-1, 2, and 3. The affected areas include Charminar, Vinay Nagar, Bojagutta, Red Hills, Narayanaguda, SR Nagar, Maredpally, Riyasat Nagar, Kukatpally, Saheb Nagar, Hayathnagar, Sainikpuri, Uppal, Hafeezpet, Rajendranagar, Manikonda, Boduppal, and Meerpet Division areas, according to HMWSSB’s official statement released on Monday.

“On November 26, 2025, from 10 am to 4 pm, there will be a six-hour power supply interruption by TG Transco at the 132 kV substations located at the Nasarlapalli water board pumping stations. This is to facilitate the maintenance of bulk feeders that provide uninterrupted electricity to the Krishna Phase-1, 2, and 3 pumping stations, which supply fresh water to the Hyderabad metropolitan area, and to replace damaged current transformers (CTs) with new ones,” according to the statement.

HMWSSB officials urged that the residents in the affected areas be requested to use water sparingly during this disruption.
