Hyderabad: The Pay Revision Commission (PRC) recommendations will be implemented for employees of the Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board (HMWS&SB) on par with other organisations under the control of Municipal Administration and Urban Development (MA&UD) Department. A memo stating this was issued by Special Chief Secretary Urban Development Arvind Kumar on Wednesday.

HMWS&SB Managing Director Dana Kishore said in a press release said that the board was adopting the recommendations of the PRC and implementing the same to its employees.

Meanwhile, the Board’s vigilance officials identified illegal connections in Telecom Nagar, Gachibowli, following which a complaint was lodged with the Raidurgam police against a person for obtaining the connection from water board pipelines fraudulently. The Board said criminal cases would be booked against those trying to obtain water connections without permission.
