Peddapalli boy summits Mount Elbrus, enters India Book of Records
Lenkala Vivekananda Reddy, a Class IX student from Peddapalli, has entered the India Book of Records after summiting Mount Elbrus, with an anti-drug campaign. Collector Koya Sree Harsha presented him the official certificate

Peddapalli: A Class IX student, Lenkala Vivekananda Reddy, from Centenary Colony of Ramagiri mandal has secured a place in India Book of Records by successfully summiting the highest mountain peak of Europe.
Vivekananda Reddy along with his father and mountaineer Mahipal Reddy scaled Mount Elbrus western peak (5,642 metres) on August 3, 2025, as part of a campaign promoting the message ‘Say No to Drugs’.
Collector Koya Sree Harsha handed over the India Book of Records certificate to Vivekananda Reddy and his father Mahipal Reddy at his chamber on Tuesday.
