Peddapalli: EP operator dies in accident in OCP-I
The incident occurred when the dumper operated by Rao rammed into another dumper parked beside the road following a breakdown at around 5.30 am.
Peddapalli: J Sudhakar Rao, a dumper operator, died in an accident that took place in opencast-I, Ramagundam-III of Singareni Collieries Company Limited in the early hours of Thursday.
The incident occurred when the dumper operated by Rao rammed into another dumper parked beside the road following a breakdown at around 5.30 am.
Srinivas Rao was trapped in the cabin of his vehicle and died on the spot. SCCL officials deployed a rescue team which had to cut open the cabin to remove the body.
On coming to know about the incident, RG-III General Manager Manohar Rao and other officials visited the spot and enquired about the incident.
Srinivas Rao, who was staying in Ganganagar millennium block quarters in Godavarikhani, is survived by wife and daughter.
