Hyderabad: Professor Jayashankar Telangana Agricultural University Vice Chancellor Prof. Aldas Janaiah met UGC Chairman Prof. M Jagadesh Kumar in New Delhi on Wednesday. They discussed several issues related to National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 and infrastructure development besides a new proposal of girls’ hostel construction on the campus.
During the meeting, the UGC chairman clarified doubts raised on NEP and gave several inputs to reform the agricultural university in the State. He assured to support the varsity especially to build a hostel block for girls on the university campus in Rajendra Nagar.
Prof. Janaiah extended an invitation to Prof. Kumar to attend the upcoming university’s diamond Jubilee celebrations on December 20.
