PMS Bowenpally: Students discuss ill-effects of bullying

Students of Grade IX of Pallavi Model School, Bowenpally presented a special assembly on November 5, on ‘International Day against bullying in school’ Bullying is the use of force or threat, to abuse, aggressively dominate, or intimidate. The behaviour is often repeated and habitual. No one deserves to be bullied. It is time to pause and educate your family on specific ways to help stop bullying online and off.
The UNESCO Member States declared the first Thursday of November, the International Day against Violence and Bullying at School Including Cyberbullying, recognising that school-related violence in all its forms is an infringement of children’s and adolescents’ rights to education and health and well-being. Students discussed how bullying affects students and the symptoms of it.

Frequently gets headaches, nausea, or a stress-related illness. He or she increasingly asks to stay home from school or come home early from school.Bullying can be associated with significantly serious problems. Teens who bully are at greater risk of engaging in delinquent behaviours.
Victims of these behaviors also tend to develop or increase their severity of anxiety. Bullies and victims tend to experience depression more than their peers who have not been involved in bullying, which can lead to academic problems. Students shared their views with their peers about the menace and help its victims.
