POCSO, rape case registered against youth in Bhadrachalam
A youth named Ch Rajesh was booked under the POCSO Act, SC/ST Atrocities Act, and rape charges in Bhadrachalam. He allegedly lured a 15-year-old private school student to a local lodge and sexually assaulted her on Saturday
Kothagudem: A POCSO case has been registered against a youth following a complaint lodged by the family of a 15-year-old schoolgirl at Bhadrachalam town in the district.
The family members in their complaint alleged that the youth, Ch Rajesh, lured the private school student by promising to take her out, took her to a local lodge and sexually assaulted her on Saturday. The girl told her family about the incident, after which they lodged a complaint with the local police.
Based on the complaint, Sub-Inspector Shyam registered a rape case under the POCSO Act and the SC/ST Atrocities Prevention Act.
