Hyderabad: Three special teams formed by the Rachakonda Police conducted raids at various places in the State to nab the four member gang that took away Rs 30 lakh from an ATM centre at Raviryal village in Maheshwaram on Saturday night.
A four member gang had cut the cash dispensing machine and took away the amount. The car left the place in a car and headed to outer ring road.
A similar heist took place on Saturday morning in Bengaluru where the offenders took away Rs 30.2 lakh by breaking into an ATM in Sulibele near Hoskote. A four member gang was involved in the heist. The gang adopted the same modus operandi to carry out the burglary.
The Rachakonda police had contacted their Bengaluru counterparts and collected some details about the heist at the ATM centre there. The police suspect the same gang is involved in the heist at Raviryal village.
