Police constable saves electrocuted lineman with timely CPR in Karwan
A police constable on patrol saved the life of an assistant lineman who suffered a severe electric shock in Karwan. The constable administered CPR after the victim stopped breathing, helping restore his pulse before he was rushed to hospital for treatment.

Hyderabad: The timely response and CPR administered by a police constable (hqs) saved the life of an electrical technician who suffered a severe electric shock at Karwan on Thursday.
According to information available, Raju Naik (44), an assistant lineman working near Kummarwadi Hanuman Temple, accidentally came into contact with a live high-tension wire and fell unconscious from an electric pole during repair works.
B Suresh of Tappachabutra Police Station, who was on Blue Colt patrolling duty nearby, rushed to the spot and administered CPR after noticing the victim was not breathing. The worker regained a pulse before being shifted to the hospital for treatment.
Doctors said the victim is stable and out of danger, adding that the constable’s immediate response during the critical golden hour helped save his life.
