A police constable on patrol saved the life of an assistant lineman who suffered a severe electric shock in Karwan. The constable administered CPR after the victim stopped breathing, helping restore his pulse before he was rushed to hospital for treatment.
KPHB police arrested two unqualified technicians at MedQuest Diagnostic Centre after a woman died during a CT scan last year. The DMHO found their certificates to be fake. Authorities suspect negligence, as the patient developed complications following a dye contrast injection.
The arrested persons - Mohammed Saleem and Mohammed Arif had set up a call center in the city and appointed a few executives to attend the calls and connect the caller to the technicians.
"The twin cities have more than 30 lakh laptops and 10 lakh desktops. There is a need for a professional, trustworthy and transparent service,” said Pankaj Lalwani, Director of Shweta Computers.
