Police summon BRS leader Krishank for questioning in Kancha Gachibowli land row
With the latest additions, the total number of cases registered against Krishank has climbed to 21 within just 16 months of the Congress assuming power in Telangana. A majority of these FIRs are linked to his posts on X (formerly Twitter), which Krishank maintains are expressions of dissent, not criminal offenses.

Hyderabad: BRS social media convenor Krishank Manne has been served notices by the Gachibowli police in connection with four new FIRs filed over his posts related to the contentious Kancha Gachibowli land. He has been asked to appear for investigation on April 9 and 10.
With these additions, the total number of cases filed against Krishank has reached 21 in just 16 months since the Congress came to power in Telangana. Most of the FIRs pertain to his posts on X (formerly Twitter), which Krishank claims are expressions of dissent rather than criminal acts.
Calling it a clear case of political vendetta, Krishank asserted that he would cooperate with the investigation and continue to raise his voice where it matters. He reacted sharply to allegations that videos showing wildlife and deforestation at Kancha Gachibowli area adjacent to the University of Hyderabad (UoH) were generated using Artificial Intelligence.
“All visuals released are real. National-level agencies confirmed the videos showed deer and peacocks. Instead of acting on environmental damage, the government is targeting those exposing the truth,” he said, demanding that cases should be filed against those destroying the ecosystem, not those showing the reality.
