Hyderabad: South Central Railway (SCR) temporarily cancelled eight MMTS services on Sundays due to poor occupancy with effect from July 25.

Meanwhile, South Central Railway Employees Co-operative Credit Society Limited (SCRECCS), Secunderabad conducted its 83 rd Annual General Body Meeting virtually on Friday under the Chairmanship of Sri Kavuri Murali Krishna.

During the last financial year (2020-21), the Society sanctioned loans to a tune of Rs 1,117 crores under various heads for catering the urgent needs of its shareholders. The Society has earned a profit of Rs 23.29 Crores during the last fiscal and accordingly, the Board of Management had declared a dividend of 18 per cent amounting to Rs 12 crores. In the last financial year, under the Accidental Death Relief Fund, Cheques worth Rs 24 lakh were given to seven families of deceased shareholders.
