Hyderabad: The State government has announced around 16, 587 openings for different cadres in the Police department. Of the total, about 558 posts are for the Sub Inspector level. Aspirants aiming at the SI level must have understood the overall pattern of the upcoming examinations through the article yesterday. However, many aspirants should keep in mind the following tips and tricks of the trade so they can excel in the examinations to secure a desired post under the State government.
So aspirants should keep the following tips in mind before attempting the SI examinations:
Maintain notes
Try to make notes of each topic. Gather all important information and prepare as per the exam. This is the best way to memorise things by noting it down in a separate book and highlighting important things.
Solve model test papers
Tons of test papers are available online and you can assess your performance by solving some question papers. Solve papers on a weekly or monthly basis.
Different modes of preparation
You can get the required content in various formats such as plain document, interactive question and answer, online coaching classes, info-graphics, and YouTube videos.
Choose study method wisely
The next thing that you should do is choose your study method. You can either rely on self-study or enroll in a formal course to prepare for the test. If you have plenty of time before the exam then it is recommended that you opt for a combination of both methods and create a well-rounded plan.
Practice questions
Finally, you should know that practice questions are an important part of preparing for the SI exam. Sure, it’s helpful if you have studied all the relevant topics in their entirety but a lot can be said for practicing the kinds of questions that will be thrown at you.
Review preparation material everyday
In conclusion, it’s important that you review your preparation material every day. It doesn’t matter if you are starting from scratch or have been studying for months – every day counts towards the result! And once again, don’t forget about practice questions because they will be an integral part of becoming a SI in Telangana.
