President inaugurates second edition of Bharatiya Kala Mahotsav in Hyderabad
President Droupadi Murmu inaugurated the second Bharatiya Kala Mahotsav at Rashtrapati Nilayam, Secunderabad. Hyderabad: President Droupadi Murmu on Friday inaugurated the second edition of the Bharatiya Kala Mahotsav at Rashtrapati Nilayam in Secunderabad on Friday.
At the inaugural ceremony the President said that in the first edition, people were introduced to the rich cultural heritage of Northeast India and that this time they have an opportunity to witness and understand the rich cultural heritage of Western India.
Visitors will be able to get a glimpse of the folk culture, handicrafts, dance, music, literature and cuisine from Gujarat, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Goa, Daman and Diu, and Dadra and Nagar Haveli during the festival.
The Bharatiya Kala Mahotsav will be open to the public from November 22 to 30 at RP Nilayam in Bolarum between 10 am and 8 pm. Entry is free and visitors can book slots by clicking on the link – https://visit.rashtrapatibhavan.gov.in/plan-visit/rashtrapati-nilayam-hyderabad/p2/p2. An on-the-spot booking facility is also available for walk-in visitors.
