Private doctors to serve at Basti Dawakhanas in Mahabubnagar
In a meeting with Collector, private hospital managements have agreed to extend free specialists doctors consultation from 11 am to 1 pm at Basti Dawakhanas

Mahabubnagar: After launching four Basti Dawakhanas in the town, the District administration is now roping in private hospitals managements to extend specialists doctors consultation for free of cost to patients at these clinics.
Excise Minister V Srinivas Goud had recently launched four Basti Dawakhanas at Yenugonda, Old Palamuru, Veerannapet and TD Gutta in the town. To offer quality treatment to people involving specialists doctors, District Collector S Venkat Rao held a meeting with private hospitals managements on Saturday.
Accordingly, the managements have agreed to extend free specialists doctors consultation from 11 am to 1 pm at Basti Dawakhanas. While, SVS Hospital agreed to extend services at Yenugonda Basti Dawakhana, Neha Sunshine will deliver services at TD Gutta Basti Dawakhana, Sushrutha Praja Vaidyashala will handle services at Veerannapet Basti Dawakhana and Navodaya Hospital will extend services at Dhobiwada Basti Dawakhana at old Palamuru.
Following the District Collector’s appeal, the private hospital managements have agreed to extend specialists doctors consultation in General Medicine, Pulmonology, Orthopedic, Paediatric and Gynaecology.
District Collector S Venkat Rao complimented the private hospitals managements for their support in containing the spread of Corona virus and slashing the bills for Corona treatment considerably. He said due to efficient and quality services extended by both private and government hospitals, people did not face much problems in covid treatment, he said.

Surprise inspections by Collector
Collector S Venkat Rao made a surprise inspection at R&B Guest House, Telangana Chowrasta, Mettugadda and other areas late in the evening and checked the implementation of lockdown in the town.
He appealed to people to extend their cooperation in effective implementation of lockdown and wanted them to abide by the Covid norms and warned those who violate the rules by showing fake identity cards or passes.
He also appealed to people postpone any functions or auspicious programmes for a few days considering the pandemic. The Collector complimented local police for effective implementation of lockdown in the town.
