Property tax exempted for poultry, dairy units in Telangana

Panchayat Raj Secretary Sandeep Kumar Sultania issued orders to this effect on Wednesday

Hyderabad: In a major relief amid Covid-19 crisis, the poultry and dairy units in the State have been exempted from payment of property tax. Panchayat Raj Secretary Sandeep Kumar Sultania issued orders to this effect on Wednesday. However, a nominal tax of Rs 100 will be collected for each unit per annum by the gram panchayats to ensure that the property records of poultry and dairy units are maintained properly.
